»Cross-Border Movement and the Law: for a Global Approach »

Even though its development has been extraordinary in recent times, the movement of persons, services and goods between territories is described by the act of inter-territorial circulation in nothing other than ordinary terms. Numerous solutions for this cross-border movement can be found under international law in its broadest sense. However, it is remarkable to observe that lawyers have interpreted the notion of movement inadequately, whereas it could be used to support and assist with the issues we face today (full movement beyond control of persons, data, capital, greenhouse gas, waste). This presentation takes up example from new epistemological developments in the legal global handling of « movement situations ».
